Movie StoryDirected by ad-film maker Anthony D'Souza, and produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision, Blue is the story of three friends - Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar and Zayed Khan - living in the Bahamas and searching for a sunken treasure. In the film the treasure is shown to be guarded by sharks and Anthony, reportedly, used 40 untrained sharks for the shoot.
Lara Dutta plays Sanjay Dutt's wife, while Katrina Kaif's character has negative shades.
Blue is touted to be the most expensive Bollywood movie ever made, with a budget of Rs 129 crores, and has been inspired by the 1970s Hollywood film The Deep as well various other films like Jaws.
Blue is about obstacles faced by the characters in their search and the deceit and betrayal among themselves and others.
International pop star Kylie Minogue reportedly plays a pivotal role in the film besides singing one of the songs.
