    sorry yesterday i couldn't finish my comment:i wanted to say that your board looks beutiful and that it was one of the things that inspired me to make mine .most of all the finish.i didnt do so much work but put a epoxy finish ,is like glass too but not as shiny as yours,but is pretty good.thanks again and if you find time comment what you think on mine

    Steve, you made my Sat morning. I watched all 7 vids. I'm working on a chess board with my son right now. It's just going to be a 1/4" piece of masonite. He's 8 and this proj is all about the layout of the squares, masking tape, razor cuts and layers of paint to get squares then poly and sand the top.
    I also had a grandpa that had a wood shop. He made furniture and picture frames.
    Thanks for making the vid. I do a lot of vids and I know how much work it is.

    I'd like to do it but have no machinery, so i'm going to try and do it (or something similar) by hand.
