The Origin of Elvira

I met her last night. She wasn't surrounded by security though. She autographed a dvd and picture for me and I also got a picture with her. I went home thinking it would be a shame if she didn't have a daughter. But I found out later she does so that made me quit worrying about a stop in the Elvira tree. lol We waited around 2 hours though. But Im glad we did.

I met Elvira in Vegas when the Elvira and the Party Monsters Pinball was released (1989 AMOA EXPO) and she autographed my poster and it's STILL on the wall in the gameroom and she is JUST AS HOT (and was surrounded by a squad of security) WHAT A BABE!! if only there were more Cassandra's! Over an hour wait to meet her, and damn well worth it.

I used to watch her show in the '80s; she often made subtle fun of the cheese and silly movies she hosted bt she did it in a unique and funny manner. And, if I am not mistaken, she made a cameo apperance in one of the Starsky and Hutch episodes; she was sitting at a bar without saying much.

The character was a hit because of raw sex appeal. You picked up the baton after Ginger on Gilligan's Island and Julie Newmar as Catwoman dropped it. The next sex bomb. Only a few girls can make it convincing. Raquel Welch didn't even have the nerve to act sexy despite her looks. She was a stick in the mud by comparison to Elvira. Elvira makes guys readjust their Levi's. ;-D

hahahahah I remember vi used to play this on flipper/pinball back in the teen days.when you pushed start button with out credit she used to say: Oooh don't touch me there..;)
