Why must one stick with their own race? Everyone I've heard saying "stick with your own race" has either provided faulty, pseudo-scientific reasons, or no justification whatsoever, as if the problem were self-evident. There is no reason to "stick to your own," people should marry who they love, whatever color they may be.

i will never understand how interracial relationships are "wrong" race is really the last thing i take into account when it comes to dating. i didn't even know racism was still such an issue till 2 years ago when i started school in the USA

I think that it is funny that this study was done in North Carolina. Being a black maale from california I never really experienced racism on the level that I have faced sinced living here in NC, when I am out in publich with my white wife. I am amazed that in this day in age people are still letting "society" dictate there love life. It's my life and as long as I am not breaking the law I have the right to be happy and love who I want. Not who society ot "my race" think I should love.

If I were still single, I would interracially date the hell out of that Indian girl at 1:00.

In the end, I believe that when and if you find the one you are to be with, it will not matter their race or creed. I have been happily married for 10 years to a black woman and have never considered any other. Never limit yourself to what others expect of you. P.S. I am Caucasian.
