Ubuntu is such a great Linux OS. They have a number of distro's for education, kids, and some of the plug-ins or extensions built in now like BERYL make other OS's jealous, they are so beautiful! Microsoft is playing catch up to Apple & Linux in that department for sure.

By onlynewzealand [Affiliate User] 1214335754 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWell,it was the second time i had set up dual-boot with XP/7.04 on my other comp,-the first was with Ubuntu 7.10 and everything worked great but i had extremely slow download speed and none of the tips/tweaks i found fixed it, so i wiped the harddrive while i DL'ed 7.04 liveCD, reinstalled XP and installed 7.04--downloads were back to speed but no effects "No composite extension", supposedly ATI X series cards are not supported. Tryed many guides to try to fix, so now I'm gonna try out 8.04 LOL
