    If you are no longer on the meds you'll be okay. I'm a retired coastie and in my opinion if you can get into the Air Force, even doing admin, go for it. Its absolutely the best military force bar none. Once you are in and improve your skills you may be able to lateral to a different field. But every military sections need admin types.     i score a 42 on my asvab. the first branch i wanted to join was the air force, but the only thing i can do there is adinistration and i dont want to do that. is there any thing i can do in the uscg with my score. also, i used to be on medication for my a.d.d. does that automatically disqualify from the uscg? if not, what jobs could i get with a raw score of 42?
