i understand that mad men is a great show. i plan on buying the first season and the second when it comes out. but you should also watch the wire. it's sow at first but it is just such a well crafted, and beautiful show. it's painful to watch at times but it truly is a masterpiece in filmmaking. go buy the first and second seasons to see what i'm talking about.

I've never seen it but it looks really well made. However, for me the fact that Mad Men takes place in the golden era and is 100% period correct is what makes it the number 1 favorite TV show ever for me.

Best show in over 30 years. I hope it wins every Emmy it's nominated for! Best writing, best acting, best costumes, best actor for Jon Hamm, what a gorgeous man he is and January is perfectly cast as his wife. They're beautiful together. The perfect cast!

I love the fashion from that era. I wish it would come back. The movies of the time encouraged men to cheat. Great show!

Best show on Television, nothing beats it. The Golden era + everyting period correct + good stroyline = best show on earth.
