The following footage was released by THAIPBS on Saturday August 30, 2008
of the Pantamit Protestors or PAD (People's Alliance for Democracy)
at Police Headquarters on Friday night August 20th. Reporters discuss the event with Suraphon TuanTong the assistant spokesperson of Thai National Police Headquarters who insists the police were not ordered to
use tear gas because it was not necessary. He mentions that he didn't feel that the protestors would enter the compound. The reporter asks if there are any close circuit cameras in the area and Suraphon is not certain.

A victim of an explosive device and tear gas thrown from the police is hospitalized."
