I found out the hard way when walking the dogs in field after dark and couldn't keep the burrito back. When done, I walked fifty feet and turned around to something most disgusting. My dogs liked mexican food! Second hand mexican food. Gross!

Well, it's certainly not as glamourous as television would have you believe. Go to school to become a police officer. Work hard, learn the job and transfer to investigations. There is no "school for homicide detectives". You've got to go through the ranks like the rest of us and learn on the street. Try a civilian ride along program if your local department sponsors them to see if you're even interested. Good luck!

i think going to the crime scene and having to collect DNA and deal with the initial smell is worse than cleanup. I mean cleanup comes through after the CSIs air the place out and the ME examines the body. Thats a nasty job.
