Yes indeed the label choses which cuts get released and promoted but the large market program directors are the ones chosing wether or not to play these songs and the U.S. top 40 pop stations all blew off the single "Slow". When "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love" was released it took a ton of promotion to get airplay and it finally gained some steam in 2002. The programmers were initially very resistant to that one as well.

This is why I purchase as many albums as I can because radio has become extremely unreliable when it comes to accurately representing the rich tapestry of sounds many varoius music artists offer.

It was her label who chose what singles were to be released for club and radio airplay. "Wow" was slated to be lead U.S. single but it was withdrawn in favour of "All I See."

I completely agree with you. As a former radio DJ who got out of the business 6 years ago I feel radio programmers bypass a lot of great stuff. For some reason they turn a blind eye to any artist who had hits in the 80's as Kylie did. I accidently stumbled upon "Slow" via the internet and rushed out to get the imported CD single (which by the way has a great b-side "Sweet Music" I wasn't about to wait the two months for the album to be released here in the U.S.
