The excitement that India Ka Fashion Star has createdRegistrations pour in from all over
the country. Over 50,000 registrations in 2 weeks to be Indias Fashion Star with Asin and
Dhoni!14 contestants from around the country were flown down to Mumbai on 5th August and
stayed at the Sahara Star, Mumbai. They were put through a rigorous 4 day grooming session
by choreographer Shakir Sheikh.Their portfolios have been shot by photographer Kunal
They had fitness, meditation and spa sessions. In house designer and stylist Krishna Thingbaijam styled the contestants to be a Fashion star.At 7:30pm on 9th Aug, at Sahara Star, Mumbai, 14 finalists competed to be Indias Fashion Star.They walked the ramp in a Fusion, Casual and Formalwear round. Judges selected one male and female winner after screening all the contestants.Crowning of winners was done by Guest of Honour Asin.

The event has been filmed and televised for a reality show on Zoom TV.
