Nope, there is no health bar or indicator, I just pound away at stuff and Die after a certain amount of hits.

np... did you get the pal version or something; does it indicate your health by digits at least :P?

Sorry abotu that last comment, whenever I played it on my NES or on my Emulator there was no health bar.

Wasn't the final boss a guy that was on fire and shot fireballs at you?

yea i was too young to even think of beating this game but my bro could never beat it, he always got up to stage 4 then and always died

they should have a remake for this game like they do bionic commando

Oh my god. This was my favorite nintendo game as a kid. The ending was impossible. Never did beat it.
