Ameer decided his old set of HIDs wasn't consistent enough or reliable enough to function as a set of daily-driven headlamps in his aftermarket projector headlight assemblies.

Henceforth, he gave me the old set and bought himself a new set.

Well, Ameer - I submit to you, this: they work just fine! One lamp alone will light up my whole garage, it's hilarious how bright they are. Though, in all honesty, you can tell they're going out - sometimes one ballast won't fire even when both are hooked up and other times the lights will flicker to a nasty shade of red and back again, like they're trying to re-fire.

BUT - before they hit their last legs and are doomed for the trash bin, my buddy Zach and I are going to build a death ray with them. We put one in a hacked up Mag flashlight reflector and it got hot enough to burn skin - and melt right through the Mag housing! So, we're going to build a bowl reflector (or get some glasses lenses to make a projector) and focus the HID beam for carnage.

Expect many a video to come from this gift of cheap, aftermarket car parts! (Oh, and don't worry - my spare battery has a trickle charger. The fun will never end!)
