Well, You are about to see a Restored Hot Air Fan , 1914 design that was rusted , seized, bent and everything else. There was about 200 odd hours on this project, where 60 odd hours was on the motor, The piston was locked in the cylinder, the cylinder bore was hand honed , the nuts and bolts all had to be heated to be undone, the piston was re bedded to the bore. All the shaftshad to be re polished and brass engine parts. There was a very small hole in the heater tube , that I discovered that was silver soldered and the motor was continously pulled apart to get it to run this well. It will run till the tank of metho runs out . The pitch of the blades are the next step , to assist in cooling the cylinder as the person as well. The camers has amplified the noise, as it sounds like an old printing press flat out . However once you see the piston moving up and down from the top view, it is a lot quiter and more of the sounfd it makes. thanks For watching the video Cheers Pete Australia South Australia
