oh yeah me too. matter of fact, i would like to see her lift the world up with her pinky but then i have to remind myself that she is only an individual and a person just like you and me...not just that, she is only...so young. sometimes we tend to ask for too much when we have been given so much already. as a hmong person myself, i cannot even think of a way to give back to the hmong community because if i miss one day of work, my family will starve.

i respect her for what she did, someting i've always wanted to do but cannot do. i wish i could do more from letting our people suffer.

beauty doesn't represent nothing on my part. Its not a beauty pageant is it? or does the winner represent the hmong community with her abilities? i dont no what the event is even for.. does it do a good deed, in the community.. i see that she has went to thai and contributed there, thats a good thing for her.. she needs to do more

you have not seen her in person? she is very stunning...but beauty is not all the judges look for. the person's character, her performance, creativity, background, acedemic achievements, and many more...

...and you are right. being so young, she should not have to bare the burden of the atrocities that we hmong have endured and yet she chooses to do so for she is such an amazing and an accomplished person.

i remember as a kid living in a refugee camp in thailand, we were always behind barbed wires...just part of crowd control...i guess.
