  • The TW merger was a ...

    The TW merger was a horrible move by AA because they got nothing. They had no purpose for a hub in St. Louis. The pax had no reason to go there vs. DFW or ORD which had flights to Europe and Asia. Traffic dropped and the flights did too. The employees got screwed and the only useful planes to AA (717s) were sold due to AA's arrogance and now AA is in a huge predicament with 300+ gas guzzling MD-80s that are oversized for many markets and need replacing now.
