Another test of my Simplex 2902-9732 Life Alarm speaker, but this time attached to a 4903-9101 strobe plate (4.5cd), with an actual Simplex voice evacuation signal, and message playing over it. The signal used is slow whoop, which seems to be the standard signal they use. The speaker was powered by the amplifier, a recording was sent from the computer to the amp, and played out of the speaker. The strobe was powered on the battery leads to my Silent Knight 5395 distributed power module, which puts out 24VDC. In an actual fire alarm system all this is controled by a control panel, and a voice evac mod. NOTE: the strobe's power does cut off briefly do to the relay in the power mod clicking off and on. Also if you have had any ill effects to strobes flashing do not watch. With that said enjoy
