Yeah but what if you set off the cannister of tear gas M stuck to the inside wall ...

The more expensive ones of this type are made well so there isn't such a large gap too look through for the "mark" which is actually a gap. You can use a thin piece of metal inserted on the right side of the number wheel. The metal will fall into the gap and you'll feel the push on the metal when you spin the wheel.

Some locks will not open when you line the "gap'd" numbers up. You may have to add 3 or 5 to each number to get the correct combo. Good luck!

This is great, because through sheer concidence, 22 similair briefcases fell off various lorries whilst I was around, and I need to get them open to find the information so I can return them to their rightful owners.
