    I like it. What a scenic and vocal performance, even if nineteen eighties style is right now too much.
    I love the energy of this song. Great and bright interpretation.
    I think there are two references in this song's interpretation : Manhattan Transfer and Weather Report, but can't decide which is the best. I love Joe Zawinul and Jaco Pastorius original version too.

    Far too many Jazz snobs around. This is a VERSION, or if you like a COVER. They are doing THEIR arrangement of the song because they like it. They are NOT saying that theirs is better. Joe Zawinul gave MT's version the thumbs up and thought that they were a class jazz act. He later got them to sing on "Celebration" on the "Procession" album which is a highly complex piece with ever evolving rhythms. They handled it brilliantly. S**t hot vocals and a great arrangement of a classic if you ask me.
