This is a Grumman F-14 promotional video (Fighter, Interceptor)
F-14 remains used even today, by Iran's air force.

So what's the problem? Western elites want them to hate each other and constantly be at each other's throats, although both countries would be better off simply living with each other and maybe even becoming allies. Yes, as hard as that is to fathom, Israel and Iran should be allies in the middle east.
Iran was much better off under the Shah. The Shah was sitting on gold toilet seats, but the people weren't nearly as bad off as they are now. The young people especially wish to go back to the good ol' days of the early-to-mid 1970s.

It's great to have Iran as a customer. We look forward to working with this great ally in the coming decades. The 1980s and 90s should be decades of great opportunity, and perhaps Iran will even become the 51st state by 1995. I'm glad to be alive today in 1976.

I thought I had read somewhere that the Iranian's scored some pretty impressive kills with the AIM-54's against Iraqi migs though.

and mig 25 is the higest fying and fastist aircraft of the day we didn't even have the radar to pick it up thoso days all also the missles where well to short range to hit the target that was going so high and so fast
Sorry, I dont get your english very well. As a former Tomcat technician I can assure the Mig 25 was no match for the F-14. Yes the Jet that Iran recieved was a little different than ours. But then do you really think we would allow another nation to recieve our best technology at the time? last i heard the Iranian jets faired pretty well Durring the Iran/Iraq war, or ami wrong? reliable information on that is hard to come by in the US.
