    lmao, I hear you, and I can't sweep worth shit, I prefer string skipping even to that, but yeah, people who I've jammed with would always try to get down on me because I couldn't sweep and they'd try to show it off, and whenever we jammed, they couldn't improv with it at all. But yay for people who don't make sweeps out to be something "frickin' amazing!"

    i mean, im not great at it, but really its just a wierd picking motion.

    i think sweeps work to the detriment of most guitarists because they're worthless unless they're used properly (see Sloe Gin, Bonamassa)

His guitar is the loudest because he is the main focus - its called the "STEVE VAI BAND" - the other guitars are rhythm, if they were louder you wouldn't be able to hear him! Absolute retard!!
