accidents like these happen when u try to overtake, most common dangerous thing in indian highways... U can tell this was an over take accident.

The driver of the truck who hit the tree was behind another vehicle, he tried to overtake that vehicle but he didnt make it in time and served to the left after the vehicle in front of him passed, but it was too late, and he colided on the sides and went and hit a tree.

I seen accidents like these and 2x worse atleast 100's of times.
