SAAB Gripen STOL Capabilities

The Swedish missile RBS15 is grater than the Exocet and yet cheaper.
Germany Poland and several other countries have bought it from Saab.

I think Royal Navy found out that the Exocet worked to the satisfaction of the Argentinians.

The flight control system has a low level control loop handling flight surfaces, and a high level control loop accepting commands from the stick.
SAAB knew that if the pilot was moving the stick violently, the low level control loop would not get enough CPU cycles, but SAAB believed that this would never happen so the pilot was not informed. Watch crash videos, and you will notice that the plane is in level flight when it hits the ground. No pilot left to whip cream with the stick in turbulence!

no i am not kidding the new upgrades are being developed by thales and other companys there is also a thales sweden.
thales used to be holland signaal wich developed the goalkeeper.
And now have radar and sencor equipent that track stealth aircraft.
there is a video of the grippen jas presentation about the new upgrades and if you look closely on the side you see the companys who are ivolved.
it wil give the f22 raptor and eurofighter a run for their monney.

Engines are very costly to develop, and if you can get a good engine on a license, go for it.
