I am a huge fan of Phantom and I absolutely adores this. I did not enjoy David Archuletta's rendition of "Think of Me" but I simply loved this. i could see him as the Phantom. You are, I believe, very wrong. He was simply amazing.

i didn't really like him until i heard this.
he won my heart with this song, (one of my favorites from the actual phantom play.)

Paul also has about 30 years on David. Hell, KISS had been out for 10 years before David was even born.

I don't think anyone was comparing David with Paul. They don't sound alike to me at all. I was just mentioning that I saw Paul do the Phantom. And, I was very pleased to see him last night. I don't care how old he is, he's on my "do" list (ha ha). And anyone can sit here and criticize any of these contestants, but there isn't a one of us that could even come close to doing this as well.

He was pretty good until the end. The end of the song sounded like something you'd hear out of a concert, not an opera.

I hope you do not compare Paul Stanley and David Cook. For one, Paul Stanley has an, and still does an incredible voice. Probably one one the very best in rock and roll. Secondly he is an extremely well accomplished guitarist. Cook is still young and his voice is okay, but he has a long way to go to even catch Paul Stanley. As for Cooks guitar playing to Paul Stanleys would be a joke. He will never be as good unless he devotes more time to his instrument.

I saw paul stanley in toronto as well! he was awesome, and I did notice he was in the audience last night :)

I didn't really love david's performance, but then he hit that amazing "be" note.

i felt exactly the same way!! i couldnt keep my eyes away from him...i had goosebumps all over the entire time!
