I show you how to replace your O2 Sensor. This is being performed on a 1997 Chevy Tahoe.

Automotive oxygen sensors, colloquially known as O2 sensors, make modern electronic fuel injection and emission control possible. They determine if the air fuel ratio exiting a gas-combustion engine is rich (with unburnt fuel vapor) or lean (with excess oxygen).

  • Some autostores ...

Some autostores will do it, but other will not. because they said the that part was bad then you replace it, and the code is on
So they might get sued, and loose customers

  • I'm really sorry ...

I'm really sorry about getting back to you so late. Yes, it should have 2 before the converter and two after the converter. On the reader that I used, it did indicate which sensor needed to be replaced. Now it didn't say if it was the one on the left or right, just that it was either before or after the converter. Hope that helps

Thank you so much. Can you or anyone show us how to replace an o2 sensor (after CAT) on a honda accord LX? Do I have to use Actron to clear the engine code (P0141, bank 1, sensor 2)?

  • If I understand ...

If I understand correctly, you said that you have multiple O2 sensors. How did you know which sensor to replace? Did that code specify which 02 sensor needed replacement?
