Ok now I understand that the National Enquirer does not have the best reputation in the world and this story is a perfect example why. Police alerted Brooke Shields that her mother was checked out of her senior living facility by two reporters from the National Enquirer who posed as her friends to check her out. Then they drover her mentally ill mother around looking for a potential tabloid story. Brooke of course was furious and said As anyone knows who has a parent who suffers from dementia or Alzheimer's, it is one of the most difficult experiences you can go through as a son or daughter. The idea that the National Enquirer took advantage of her state is reprehensible and disgusting. Brooke also said she plans lawful action to all that were involved or authorized the act.
