This is my first attempt experimenting with wood gas production. I take it I am using the updraft method... using a paint can and metal piping from Lowe's.
Good idea .. buy a "charcoal kiln" .. and tap the gas from there .. the fire is within, thus self feeding .. am a charcoal producer ( was) .. so i see exactly what you're doing ..
Good Luck, and stop by if you want a hint on producing charcoal .. you get 3 products .. Tar, Gas, and of course Charcoal .. very eco friendly, and carbon negative, when you consider imports and such.
