Well! Daniel Balavoine was far young! He was a close friend of Thierry Sabine who created and managed the Paris-Dakar Rally Raid! In 1986, Thierry Sabine invited Balvoine to have his first helicopter flight over the race. The helicopter crashed in the desert because of a sand storm while joining the next stage of the race. The four peoples in the helicopter died instantly. Balavoine was 34 years old.

Sad news about Daniel, could you enlighten us? He certainly didn't look old or feeble in this video so this news is very surprising.

Angel, Just relistening and rereading when I came across the Mike O. version comment. Went searching and found several versions, non really "cut-it". He is just far too fast and strangely for Mike O. there is no dynamic range in any of the posted versions and it is even less in the guitar only versions. Nope, as much as I like Mike's work for Arrival it is ABBA, all ABBA and nothing but ABBA. Benny and Bjorn did this one "to the 10s". Long Live ABBA and those of us who love their music. Carl

This version is in french with deceased singer Daniel Balavoine. It's a variation around the fairytale : Sleeping Beauty and really a pleasure to listen.

There is also a vocal version...tap in Frida Belle on here and you'll find it.

I love this song. It has a touch of folkmusic o ver it, I guess Benny had a hand in that.

It's also pretty cool that Mike Oldfield did a version of this song.

This song feels good in my swedish heart and soul. I think ABBA made this song to preciate the folklore from the state of Dalarna i Sweden.
