I actually cant see him using finger 3 at all, he seems to use finger 2 for the top two strings for some reason? very good by the way

Sixchomp, I never said squeaking was acceptable. The point is, the purpose of this lesson is not to teach technique or perform. He is conveying his arrangement, which is deserving of merit. Your assessment is tantamount to seeing a play and dismissing it over a mispronounced word. You deprive yourself from the benefits of the overall experience by obsessing over *contextually* irrelevant minutia.
BTW, I studied at Juilliard, but make no claim to be on your level. Perhaps less fettered.
