http://www.pfaw.org Robin Williams portrays the American flag in "I Love Liberty," a two-hour television special created by Norman Lear and presented by People For the American Way.
Brought to you by a group that wants us all to abide by what they believe is the "American Way." Look deeper into what they believe is the "American Way" and you'll see some definitely disturbing things that are more the "socialist way" than the traditional American way. Sorry, it's just more leftists trying to shape America to their liking than to the Constitutions way.

Actually Robin Williams is still very respectful of our flag and country unlike so many of the "Hollywood" type that you speak of. Did you know that that he takes an active part in doing the USO shows, taking his comedy show to our military personnel stationed over seas in wars zones. He is one many Hollywood personalities that do this. The last show (done for the 2007 holidays) included Robin Williams, Lewis Black, Kid Rock, Lance Armstrong, Rachel Smith (Miss USA) and Ronan Tynan.
Too bad most folks don't respect the flag and what it represents.....

Even what you think about Hollywood more likely is shaped by media who are supporting one political viewpoint.

Tina Fey recently said (even if joking) she wants to leave earth if Palin is elected. In the past, others have said, they want to move out of the US is Bush is elected. That is unpatriotic. I may not like Obama's policies, but if elected I will respect him and pray he is given good guidance and wisdom. That is patriotic.

Why do you suspect Robin Williams isn't patriotic? Only conservatives and simple folk outside of "Hollywood" are allowed to be patriotic?
Amazing how the elections are always close to 50/50 splits, isn't it? That means about half the people you meet probably disagree with you politically. That doesn't mean they're not all patriotic.
Sweeping statements like yours are worthless in my opinion.
That was wonderful!
By dbingamon [Affiliate User] 1224625246 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI wonder if he still feels this way about our country? Does the Flag matter to Robin Williams? Or is it preferred by the "Hollywood" know-it-alls that it is improper to be patriotic? Great performance and message. Too bad, I suspect, he really no longer feels the same. I hope I am wrong.
