Navy Bootcamp 1 of 2

I actually thought it was kind of fun. I like the physical challenges since I played sports in high school and everything else just look at it like it's a game. Half the time when someone's getting yelled at, you're trying your hardest not to laugh cause the say some funny S**t Just be respectful and maintain your military bearing and everything will go just fine. Hardest part for me was just waking up early but I got used to that being I was RCPO. Good luck!

All of this fighting on here is ticking me off. Army/Air Force, say what you want. I don't really care but, as far as the Navy and Marines fighting back and fourth, it needs to stop. We're family and we need to act more like it. We're like brothers. We love/hate each other but when the times comes, we've got each others back. Marines, you're under the Dept. of the Navy, remember that. Navy, the Marines are the Navy's ground force. We need each other so stop bitching. God bless our Military!

HAH! You better say NOTHING that will affect your performance in boot camp. Otherwise you are gonna drop like a fly faster than you can say DISQUALIFIED! Talk to your recruiter about it he/she will tell you the same thing I told you. I'm off to boot camp next month!(Hope I helped you out there.) :)

don't be nervous. Boot camp is "tough" because its not the lifestyle that you're use to and it comes at your face like a rushing train. Be calm, exercise alot so that your body will be use to physical training, eat right, sleep less as you're getting close to boot camp so that your body will be used to lack of sleep, and don't take what the RDC's say personally. Its their job to be tough on your behind. Stay strong and motivated, and stay positive, cause mental is first thing that will be needed

lol. that is true. people would get scared because they wouldn't be used to the yelling.

But there are plenty of people who make it, and there is always boot camps that are MUCH tougher than navy, such as the academies, marine and army, and the south korean military training is real hell compared to this. lol, don't even get me started on SEALS, green berets etc. XD

navy boot camp is a picnic compared to those that i've mentioned.

I'm taking the ASVAB soon for the Navy,and then I'll be off to MEPS. Can someone PM or tell me on disqualifications at MEPS. I have a sinus infection.

If you want more Info type into google how to survive navy basic. I found it helpful and suggest you take a look at it if you want to be ahead. I did for the Army and now for the navy. HOOYAH!!

it doesnt stop... its easy tho if you cant do it your a bitch ass nigga its one of the harder boot camps though you dont ground fight like a dirty ass marine you still do the same types of trainin'

the navy is still important for keeping our seas guarded and all and it may not be having huge sea battles rite now but if it werent for the navy we wouldnt be here becas of the battles over the atlantic in world war 2

I've got two questions, which weeks of bootcamp are the toughest, and does all the screaming and yelling last the entire two months, I leave in September and im already getting nervous.

woooow really... I went through boot in Sept 07 an the RDCs in this are way to nice... i remember a whole lot more yelling
