My video are for one simple thing. To listen to! If your here to compare mine to someone else or the cd version , your wasting your time. I change many things in my videos from one to another. Most songs I play are mostly by the book as it is, but I do change things in the songs even then! These are versions of what I like to share with other musicians, nothing more nothing less. People that are only here to try and prove themselves better than someone else? Well then you have a lot to learn about music and what its really about, because after 25 years of playing, music is not like that for me. I have nothing to prove to anyone but myself. If you like what you hear, please subscribe.

This was a request, It was done in about 8hrs from the time I created the tones for it with Line 6 PodXT to the time I learned it. It was learned from the Vault Guitar Book. Im seing too many people playing mixed parts or over distorted playing of this song in there covers. They need to learn to read music and get books that are correctly written. Steve and Phil split the guitar parts so much differently. I hate saying this, but its the truth! I see to many people are improvising on this song here on You Tube. Things get over played or left out when learning by ear? When you get with another guitar player to really play this live? Thats where you will find out your playing needs to be correct, or it will sound like crap! If every one in the band was a improvisor, the song would be a bunch of crap just stuck together! Its ok to change things as long as its pretty much planned that way. Improvising should really only be used to get back to where you were if a mistake has been made in the song, or if your doing a solo by yourslef on stage. To me its not a good thing at all! because it really means you probley couldnt come close to playing a second time the same way?

The beginning start off is both players, guitar 1 starts off with the tremolo bar then guitar 2 comes in. This is the way it is in the book. Also the clean picking is guitar 2 when guitar 1 comes over it with a couple distorted notes in the song. Listen to it and you will hear it pretty clearly.
Sorry about the video being a little off from my playing. It was encoded that way for some reason I couldnt fix it?
Enjoy!
Dave
