Its not fast for the 90,000$that you pay for a gt500 it should be in the low 4's at least.... the nissan gtr is in the 3s with a 6for the same price and has a much classier look then a mustang... If it was your money and you bought a gt500 new you would likely be pissed too at the performance on the streets if you compete... My crossfire srt with turbo does x-60 in 4.2 and i got it for 23000$for everything with a standard trans. Even a fuckin jeep srt 8 tapshifting can do 0-60 in 4.5 seconds

The Gt500 is not even a close match to the viper... The new mustangs are terrible from the handling to the 0-60 time.. My mechanic has a 08 gt500 with mods and it only gets mid 4's not to mention terrible handling and top speed just isnt there.... The corvette you can expect 3's as well as the viper(both exceeding 200mph).... a mustang gt500 is a quick car but not fast by any standards and is more comparable to the srt 8 series because they are in the same tps range and 0-60 times.

This car is one huge puppy. It weighs more than a Mustang therefore obviously has a lot more weight to pull up to that speed. If it weighed the same as a Mustang, hell, this bad boy would leave it in the dust.
