Im from Spain and the low birth-rate its truth, but in ex my country its trying fix that by giving money (2500-3500 € per newborn) and also giving payed holydays to both parents. I guess, in the future, that dont will be a problem anymore...

Good info... One of the reasons for the low birth rate is taxation. The cost of raising a child in Europe is enormous. Everything is taxed for the welfare state they created after WWII.

I've looked into death rates, UK and France are gaining population, Germany is loosing it, 10.8 deaths opposed to 8.18 births according to the CIA factbook. Spain 9.9 deaths to 9.87 births, population is also falling. Belgium 10.38 deaths per 10.22 births, also falling. Just look it up, in the majority of western european nations the population is falling. Italy 10.61 deaths per 8.36 births.
