Nice to find someone who shares my passion for pump organs! I've been in the process of trying to find one for myself. To bad you don't hear them in a lot of music. Grant Lee Buffalo uses them. Do you know of any albums that uses them?

I just got a Thompson pump organ. It must be pumped rapidly and dies away quickly. Anything you can tell me about this brand? It has some labels missing from the stops...what might they be called?

just today I saw something just like this at an antique store. I wanted it so badly. but it was like $1000. great instrument. I like the pump sound of organs and accordions and such.

It would be nice if we could see it. Vid Cams on auto do not take good shots. You definitely have a leak. You should not have to pump so fast - or you are overpumping. You tell nothing - who made it? When? You definitely have a leak it should not die so soon. Sounds nice

Seriously, you should check for leaks, this can't be normal (except if all the stops are open).
It is a beautiful instrument indeed though.. but I wouldn't try a slow ballad on this one.. ;)

yup. I figured it out on piano first. Its a lot easier to play the hard parts on it

I put a pillow in mine so the neighbors would leave me alone. Might help.

haham yeah, I'm timbre. I put this up for my little sister to see while she was in italy. awesome. I really want a portable one now. that's my next project... I'd like to use one for live shows... yet another huge instrument to lug around.
