I have a pit I rescued on the street. Even though it was abusedit is the greatest dog I have ever had and I have had alot of dogs. There is not enough i can say about this dog and others I have had contact with. These dog fighters have got to be stopped! The pit bull was called the nanny dog because they were intrusted to look after their masters children. These idiots use that loyalty and determination against them. It is a shame!

recently my son was born, he's 7 days old. My pit was so curious when she heard him cry an ran up to him an sniffed. today I had company come over to see the new baby, how amazed was I when she would stay in between I with baby an company to make sure they do no harm to him. They used to be called anny dogs lets keep that in mind

i agree completely! we would get the same reaction about our rottie if i mentioned that we had one. "oh, i'm afraid of rottweirlers". it makes me so mad that people can be so ignorant. i used to love to take bear (our rottie) out in public just so that people could see what a sweet heart he was. i mean common, he was afraid of flies! lol

I own a rescue pitbull and live where there is B.S.L. laws so i know first hand about this B.S. law, I find myself always having to prove and show people that this breed is so amazing,friendly and when only in the wrong hands it is a dangerous animal I also go out of my way to show skeptics and people easily influenced by the media that my girl is the most kind hearted animal they will ever meet. Like a person said below my girl is a 70 pound lap dog.PITBULL FOR LIFE

my 4 year old pitbull was put to sleep because he scrached a 7 year old girl with his nails. all he did was sniff around and she screamed and jumped around and excited him so he scratched her....I watched my dog die because of a bad and false reputation.

dogs are like humans if your parents brought you up to be a good person an respect others then its the same as wen people bring up their pets i love all kinds of dogs my bf has a pitbull an shes the sweetest thing wouldnt hurt a fly i think its ridiculous ...as i have a rottweiler an they can do pretty much wha pitbulls can do if ther trained for it ill fight for pitbulls any day

OK, I cried while watching this video cause I own a pit bull, she is my service dog and goes everywhere with me! People always tell me how beautiful she is, how well mannered she is. A friend told me I should say I don't know what breed she is if people ask because of the feelings about pit bulls. I PROUDLY tell everyone who asks that my dog is a pit bull!
