Nose Piercing Questions Answered

So I just changed mine because the crystal fell out, and it's possible that it is a slightly smaller gage than my other one. It's l-shaped and the angle is not as tight, I don't think, as my previous one. It's staying in (i've had it in for like a couple hours) I'm just afraid of it falling out. Also, is it bad if the hole shrinks to a smaller gage? Thanks :)

Salt water will not irritate it. It's actually recommended that you clean your piercing with salt water ONLY. Your piercer should have H2Ocean available for sale at the shop. It is purified ocean salt water. Otherwise you can make your own solution at home with sea and and tap water.

Okay so I got mine pierced and I really want to change the stud! But the piercer guy (who was sooo hot :]) put in a stud with this little ball on both ends and it wont unscrew so I cant get it out! Help?

I suggest you tell them that it's not permantent and you can take it out if you don't like. It's not like it's a tattoo or anything. ... well at least that's what I told my parents and their thinking about it.

Thanx so much for posting this! I've wanted to get mine pierced for the past year but my parents kept saying 'next year, next year.' and finally it's next year! I was a little nervous but now hearing from you and a few other people about how it is I feel less nervous. Just one question, I'm going to Hawaii in a few monthes and I'm not sure if it will have time to heal properly, but do you think the salt water iritate it?

Ok, i got a a question.. do you know how long it will take a nose piercing hole to close up, because my stud fell out last night ¬_¬ and i havent been able to get it in, ok, i admit, i dont wanna shove it through, but last time this happend my nose didnt bleed.. so yeah, lol, do you know how long nose stud holes close up?

What size needle did your piercer use? The guy used 16 guage needle on me and told me he used a different size piercing so it would heal better. I didn't hear what size piercing he used. I wonder what size I need to go to? The one he gave me (which I am still wearing) looks bigger than the ones at Wal-Mart. Help?
