Hey everyone! Wow! Amazing comments. It feels so good to hear Goo Goo Dolls again. I've always loved their music. Stop the hating all you haters. This needs to be said, so I'll say it. It's mostly the guys the post these crude comments. And the only reason why they hate other people or put down other people's opinion's is because they can't do any better. Did you see this?! To clarify my comment of a couple days ago: I know this great song isn't simply about racism, but (as I said), I use it in my primer for racists as a way of saying they need to let love in instead of letting the filth of racism out upon the world. Please don't make it a difficult concept to grasp. The assumption that I hate them (vs. their behavior) or am insulting them is just that--an assumption.

I find it funny.. that nearly every video I've watched today has had comments about racism... Yeah, it's a harsh violent action that needs to be stopped.. there's a self proclaimed Nazi at my school who hates blacks.. but I've made racist jokes before... Humans are flawed, destructive and corrupted.. but can we all agree that this song is beautiful and speaks more truth than I ever could?

I find it ironic that a lot of these responses are full of loaded words, and insults. "Sick-minded," "unintelligent," "filth," etc. Isn't that just another form of hate? I mean, there's no excuse for people who hate others based on race, or any other difference, but insulting them or being hateful doesn't change the world. It only adds to the strife. Ever heard of "killing with kindness"?

I can understand how this is still recent and in fact one never "gets over" stuff like this--seeing someone you love suffer because of the intentional sick acts of another person. The strength of your emotions would make it really hard for you not to blame a whole group for the actions of some--but if you think about it objectively, stats show clearly that American children are more likely to be sexually abused by a relative or acquaintance than they are by an immigrant (or any stranger).
