And ask yourself, US, why Replublican John McCain called for the Republican head of the Securities and Exchange commission, Chris Cox.

molloyx - you need some education boy. The first bailout was rejected by Republicans But then the Democrats went around promising this and that until they finally got eenough rebublicans to push it through. Now the Democrats want yet another bailout

The first bail out was 'pushed' by the current Republican president, his Republican secretary of the Treasury, and life long arch conservative Mitch McConnel to name a few. It was pushed because a long and dubious history of deregulation by American conservatives left us with no alternative.
But conservatives no longer run this country and average Americans are finally deeply suspicious of the greed and corruption of big business, something liberals have been railing against for decades.

The Democrats pushed for the first bailout and now they want another one for the auto companies. Corporate welfare from Obama and the Demmocrats.

fact: the economy does have structural problems but would recover quicker if it had confidence in the president and congress going forward. think about it, if you looked up and saw Obama, Pelosi and Reid in control of everything you might die of fright, too. they are ANTI-BUSINESS and the market is pricing that in. this is the first time we didn't have a post election rally, ever

And people make fun of how Bush speaks...."Uh" plus he needs to look at his audience more instead of his notes so much....I'm not too impressed with him so far but for the sake of the Country I wish him well.

Seeing Bush and Obama become "best friends" is so sickening. After what Obama said about Bush, he should have slapped him silly. Obama should have punched Bush when he put his hand on his shoulder. Its like mixing country music and rap music, they are completely different.

Obama and the Democrats are now bailing out the BIG auto corporations. More corporate welfare from the liberal political machine.

Fact:The economy will not improve very much while Obama is in. And neither will unemployment. The same would have been true for McCain. This stuff goes deeper than any raised tax. Believe it. It won't happen during Obama's first term. Democrat or Republican in office. Get serious folks. He's going to do the best he can. BUT IF THAT BAILOUT DIDN'T HELP, then that should tell you something about the situation right there.
