I was referring to Keanu Reeves. But this film isn't Al Pacinos best, he only seems cartoonishly evil.

Brilliant acting. Look at how he walks into the ominious lighting when he rages the most (watch from when he says "he's a SADIST!" and look at the lighting on his face, and again a line or two later), and how he enunciactes his words (example: "cosmic gag" - makes sure not to slip into how we'd say it almost as one word).
