For everyone's information MAB was featured on the "Colbert Report" hosted by Stephen Colbert, Wed. January 23rd, 2008. That is what Stephen said about Michael. It was a great show featuring MAB along with Tom Brady and even former Pres. Jimmy Carter and Al Gore. It was awesome!

''Alpha Sector 2'' is insanely amazing, I freakin agree with you, the ultra-fast legatos in the middle sound like laser-rays. The sweeping section fits perfect and the ''Country'' outro is suprising !

This guy is perfect

he is using tapped harmonics, its all about spacing on the fretboard. For example, if you 'tap' or hit the same note on the same string and octave higher (12 frets higher) then it will ring out like if you were playing a normal harmonic. This also works if you divide the interval further, such as tapping 6 frets higher instead of 12, etc.

LOL. I started to wonder if he played without a strap O_o that would be even more awsumness.

what can i say?i have seen so many very fast solos and i cant get excited just with speed BUT...I love this melody and show which that guy can do. Respect for your attitude MAB.
