Thanks GGie4444, always nice to hear from you. Well, the part you pointed out is actually one of the landmarks of Farido on Bayyat, and many oudists played it and still play it till today, some realizing that it was actually created by Farid and some don't know how it ended up in their minds :)

I like the combination of different well-known pieces of music played with your own twist very much. My fahter always used to play something very similar to what you played at :45-1:25. Is that from Farid Al Atrash or is that something they teach you in oud school? My father made the Rabee3 song into a different version, also with the Bayati maqam; I must let you hear it sometime :)
