Wow, how do you fight Minerva?! Sorry, I only beat it once.... I've been to holed up in my copy of FFVII I recently bought for 30.00.... >P ^_^;

I dont care if you use cheats this boss is as hard as F***, I mean your basicly fighting a GOD.

if you have the dash matteria and use it on this battle hold triangle and you are 3 times so fast

have you finished this game? cause im having a hard time with the final boss genesis.

Even phoenix downs aren't even close to being essential here.

They're only for if you slip up badly on her slash/arrow moves.

And yeah, after learning exactly when Ultima hits it's nothing bad, but the first few times trying to dodgeroll can easily result in death.

Your phoenix down status goes away after Minervas "Judgment arrow", and as you can see I have the feather over my head until that very point.

There's really no need to use a Phoenix down in the battle regardless, cause it's pretty easy after you max your stats.

I just put an added note that I didn't use Phoenix down to "auto-life".

once you learn how to dodge everything swiftly and have your stats maxed, the only challenge left is to do the fight without pheonix downs. the only instant ko I cant think about is the final slash move, but that's only if you don't block. all in all, if you take the proper preparations, it's a long fight, but one with medium difficulty.

yur gay cuz you played it on normal and umm yea, try hard and maybe you can be called a serious gamer

Why is it silly if it saves time? it's perfectly reasonable.

Again, I noted the only reason I use it is because of youtube time limit, using it shaved my fight time quite drastically.

And it is a challenge, if you miss timing the dodge roll, it's an instant KO, and that's more difficult than anything the boss can do with the stats needed to clear it.

I did not use a Phoenix down in the battle.

21 hours, I just finished it.
Playing it in Hard now... but it's not really a challenge, you keep every status except your DMW's second time around

That's not a challenge, you can just roll dodge Ultima...

You don't have to use Divine Slayer either, there are other items that can do that same thing, and you're using an item you get from Minerva against her... kinda silly...

And, if you say you didn't use Phoenix Down, don't. Even if you didn't physically use one in battle. I am aware of the difficulty of her, I've beaten her myself.
