Review: 2006 Volkswagen Passat 2.0T

why are you even talking about tracks?? who takes a passat/camry/altima to the track anyways??

Am testat passat, le-am studiat oferta si am ajuns la urmatoarea concluzie:
-pret ridicat
-optiuni numeroase si scumpe
-fara roata de rezerva in serie
-perne de scaune rgide
-suspensie NU foarte confortabila
-acustica ( motor TDI foarte zgomotos!)
-motorul 2.0 140cp nu este atat de agil pe cat s-ar crede:|
-tunel central spate mare
-fara stergator luneta
...ca puncte forte ar fi cutia DSG si Tiptronic(in optiune),habitabilitate si tinuta de drum

I agree, I own a 07 Passat Wagon w/2.0T. There is hardly any lag except when its very hot outside, and even then its not really that annoying. When one is driving in town its pointless to floor it every time.

2.0T is the base engine with 200hp.. 3.6 VR6 is the optional engine with ~280hp. Also the 2.0 is a turbo, so you have more of that power available throughout the range. 207lb/ft of torque from 1800-5000 rpms. This is much more than the 4cylinder from Accord or Camry.

your statement clearly show that you have never driven one. If you drive the 2.0 without knowing how much hp it really made, you would think it made close to 270ish. i don't know how to explain it but it pulls hard and has a lot of torque when in sport mode. i have a 2008 white 2.0t and love it. it has no problems at all on the freeway...the turbo is just awesome! those were the other cars i was looking at when buying and the passat gives you more confidence when driving hard.

only 200hp the camry and altima have more but this is probably more fun and little slower
