What kind of songs with some kind of similar message do you like? Love songs that are way to romantic, making one puke?

Indeed. The Fragile is great. I agree that the chorus in Closer isnt much poetic, its just some simple lines that most people can relate to. Pure instinct.

now i will admit, that although i absolutely love nine inch nails, i am not a fan of the chorus of this song. it does seem childish compared to some of trent's other masterpieces. but a lot of nin's other works and lyrics are poetic and beyond amazing, especially during the fragile era.

What pisses me off is that u guys hang on these guys nuts like they're lyrics are some kind of poetry. This is complete S**t piled together in a matter of what a half hour for pure shock value, so shut the F**k up!

You were that horny at a age of nine? Poor bastard, you had to hold out for a long time... This song is pure instinct. Songs dont have to be complicated to be good. However, i say the text is brilliant as it goes along with Reznors excellent sounds. Give me a link to a "complicated" song with the same topic so I can see how you like it... better be good when you write S**t about other songs
