I dont know what you mean about "dancing" but if you have seen them live, full show you would say otherwise. theyr show lasts for about 30 minutes. I cant say it is dancing. It's way more marching than this.

They looked kinda weightless compared to the M1 Garrand the Norwegian drill team uses.

Russian drill team can be compared only to US Army "silent" drill team.

US Army show is performed in total silence, how they do that I dont know.

though i do not trust the russians at all i am glad to see the royalist uniforms on display that my great grandfather wore well working for the czar (german family teaching russians... we grew rich off of them)Its also good to see such EXCELLENT DRILL from russia. i almost joined a canadian drill team but i was stuck commanding another division

Thank you very much for posting this video. At the risk of sounding unpatriotic, I must say that the drill of these troops is superb, in my opinion better than that performed by our own USMC drill team and it gladdens my heart to see it. The revival of the pre-1914 Tsarist uniforms is also quite wonderful. Now,if the current German govt.would only quit being so politically correct and allow its soldiers the opportunity to show off again, we would have a truly remarkable display. Vielen dank.

What was the other Guard regiment that Peter the Great formed from his companions, do you know? I can't remember and can't find it in any of my references.

Does anybody know what march do they start to play at approx 3:30 (after Preobrazhensky march and drums)? I know a lot of Russian marches, but that one is unknown to me.
