  • Eddie Mac is one of ...

Eddie Mac is one of the best players to ever play for Denver. We were so lucky to have both him and Rod Smith who is the second best Bronco in my lifetime behind Elway in Bronco unis for that time. Eddie was so damn tough and this play says it all, compound fracture but comes down with the ball! I tell my nephews about his toughness all the time as they're learning to play football, great example of how you play the game! Looks like we have another great Eddie in the making at WR in Royal!!!

    Take 2:
THIS is why I call NBA players pussies. Look at how stoically Ed S**ks up the pain of this nightmarish injury-seconds after it happens. Watch a typical NBA player turn an ankle. They roll around on the floor screaming and carrying on like they just got shot. Then 2 seconds later they're back in the game.

  • This is easily the ...

This is easily the greatest catch I've seen in my entire football life. A one handed grab, over the middle, where he knows he's going to take an extra hard shot due to the poorly thrown ball that over exposed him. He hangs on to it IN SPITE OF HAVING HIS LEG BROKEN INTO A COMPOUND (bone sticking through the skin) FRACTURE!!!!!
All the acrobatic catches shrink to insignificance in the face of that level of concentration and commitment. THAT is a receiver!!!
