Fernando Poe Jr stars with Zaldy Zshornack in Premiere Productions' PITONG GATANG.
Also starring Shirley Gorospe, Carol Varga. and Dely Atayatayan. FPJ's favorite director Efren Reyes is shown in a cameo role.
A different character of FPJ in his younger days is shown here as an easy go lucky guy. He is Teddy, a popular fistfighter in their community who has always been a problem to his mother. Zaldy Zshornack is Pepito the younger sibling who is a hardworking breadwinner in the family.
This is the movie where singer Fred Panopio popularized his song "Pitong Gatang".
FPJ would later use this title, after 33 years, to make a new movie "Dito Sa Pitong Gatang".
