    Also! Sometimes "the" is dropped all together O_O eg: Die Frau ist am tisch: the woman is at the table, but "the" suddenly disappears. Why?

    And finally an/am, this explodes my brain. at the table is am tisch right? But at the door is an der Tur? an and am? and door is feminine yet here when you're "at the door" suddenly "the" is masculine *explodes*

  • I think Nicht is ...

    I think Nicht is used mostly to negate verbs/adjectives where as Kein is normally for nouns. So; not old, is there for nicht alt. Kein however is for like saying something is isn't something else...if that made any sense....I think. Someone German correct me if I'm wrong, I'm trying to learn to speak German fluently, which is going to take a long time -_-.

    The grammar really confuses me, for example "the men" is feminine the (die) but "the man" is masculine the (der).
