Maybe if we had the same number of planes flying at one time as we do cars, but there isn't so why bother with that argument

But that's just a bunch of "ifs", we are living in the real world meaning we only take what is real instead of making assumptions

Yes it does. It's considered safer but do the real math.
- How long does it take to get a drivers license and who can? Compare that to pilots.
- Are cars being maintaned as strictly as planes? Every day and day again?
- Are drivers being monitored by traffic control?
- Do cars have to keep the same safety distances as planes have to?

Cars would be safer than planes by far if regulated and restricted in the same way.

The airplane isn't the safest way of transportation. That's the lift (yes, that thing that goes up and down)

but that does not make a difference when we are talking about the ratio between deaths in planes and deaths from motor vehicles
for the amount of people planes carry in a day, it is considered safer

Yeah but the amount of cars manufactured are much more than the amount of planes manufactured. I did some research and the total number of cars are 204,000,000(U.S alone) and the number of planes are 273,870(U.S alone)

Yeah that is true.

but donkeys don't kill 150-200 people at once.

its a proven fact that the amount of people that die on the roads in ONE DAY it will take 40 YEARS for the same amount of people to die in a plane crash. Hence its the safest way of travel :D

I hope you realize donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes
